We'll meet (during class time) every Wednesday at 17:30 in our conference room, which is in building 50 located on the campus of Fulda University of Applied Sciences. Feel free to come and get to know us - our sessions are publicly and require no prior registration.
Resolution 126/98 of the Council of FH Fulda (now Senate of Fulda University of Applied Sciences) dated December 9, 1998:
“There are no courses on Wednesdays from 13:00 (i.e. after the end of the 6th hour) until the end of the day, in order to give interested parties the opportunity to participate in the committees without discrimination.”
The principle of student self-government exists at German universities. As early as the beginning of the 19th century, the principle of uniform organization of all students was formulated by the early fellowship.
As early as the turn of the century, the first general student committees were founded, which no longer only tried to represent the members of student associations but the interests of all students.
Since 1976, the Higher Education Framework Act has included the optional provision of a student body, which is a student administration as applied today (except in Union-led federal states). Despite the attempt, the established student body has not yet been firmly anchored in law.
The organization of student self-government can be found in the diagram below. In addition, there are committees that bring together elected representatives from the professors' college, student body, executive committee and the circle of scientific or administrative-technical staff.
