Since 01.04.2024, students at Fulda University of Applied Sciences (with the exception of some distance learning courses) have received the digital "Deutschlandsemesterticket".
The Deutschlandsemesterticket costs €176.40 per semester (= €29.40 / month) and is paid by you as part of the semester fee.
It's not possible to buy the Deutschlandsemesterticket on a monthly basis, neither at the AStA, nor at the university, nor at the RMV.
It's valid in the summer semester from April 1st to September 30th and in the winter semester from October 1st to March 31st of the following year.
ATTENTION!
There is no (partial) refund entitlement for the Deutschlandsemesterticket after exmatriculation within a semester.
However, it is possible to exmatriculate during the semester with validity at the end of the semester, in which case the Deutschlandsemesterticket remains valid until then.
Further information can be obtained from the Student Office at Fulda University of Applied Sciences.
Here is the link to download the ticket to your cell phone.
Log in there with your fd number and password.
Click on Semesterticket.
Add the semester ticket to your Apple or Google Wallet.
Your ticket will then be displayed.
If you have technical problems retrieving or displaying the Deutschlandsemesterticket, please contact support@digital-h.de.
You do not need a current student ID card to be checked on public transport, but an official photo document.
This includes:
- official identity card
- passport (German or international)
- travel document as a passport substitute
- German driving license
- international driving license
From 01.04.2024, the Federal Government introduced a Germany-wide "Deutschlandsemesterticket", so that the AStA RMV/NVV semester ticket will be suspended.
The RMV-NVV semester ticket began in 2011 with a ballot.
A ballot is a vote to which all members of an organization (e.g. political parties, trade unions, associations, student bodies) are called upon. It is necessary to vote on a specific issue, which is usually of particular importance, which is why the result must be based on a broad basis.
Since these organizations (e.g. trade unions) are often not locally bound, ballot votes usually take place in the form of postal votes.
As a rule, both a specific quorum, i.e. a specific voter turnout, and a qualified majority, e.g. a two-thirds majority of the valid votes, must be achieved in order to finally pass the pending resolution.
Statutes and regulations specify how ballot votes can be carried out and how they should be carried out.
The ballot of student body Fulda University came to an end on Friday, 12.12.2008 at 1:30 p.m.
With her, the question of a semester ticket was finally resolved.
1200 students opted for, 829 against, a semester ticket, which is why a semester ticket was introduced in the summer semester 2009.
In a model project limited to the summer semester 2011 and winter semester 2012/2013, IC track time tickets in the RMV area could be reimbursed on a pro rata basis. Unfortunately, the model project was discontinued.
A semester ticket is nothing more than a ticket that entitles the holder to use public transport (public transport) without restriction in the “purchased” tariff areas.
These include buses, trams, subways, regional trains, regional express and suburban trains (2nd class only).
The use of IC and ICE trains with the semester ticket is excluded.
The new, Germany-wide semester ticket allows you to use public transport (public transport) throughout Germany (no longer just in Hesse) cost-effectively from 01.04.2023.
The contract basis for the semester ticket is the solidarity model, i.e. that all enrolled students must purchase a semester ticket. The reason for this is that a semester ticket is only profitable for transport companies if all students are encouraged to make their contribution.
With payment of the semester fee, you will automatically receive your semester ticket.
The Fulda semester ticket was valid within the Rhine-Main Transport Association (RMV) and the North Hessian Transport Association (NVV). The exact scope of application can be found in the graphic below.
Since the introduction of the semester ticket at Fulda University of Applied Sciences, the price for the RMV/NVV ticket has changed over the years depending on the development of the trainee rate.
We have recorded the price development for interested parties.
