The Ersti-Week of the Winter Semester 2024/2025 is behind us, and what a start it was!
With great spirits and plenty of motivation, we kicked off the new semester together at the AStA tent.
If you haven't figured it out by now: "Ersti" is the German short form of "Erstsemesterstudi" meaning first-semester student.
That's who we dedicate the first week of the semester to. We're excited to welcome so many new and motivated students.
From the beginning, the atmosphere at the AStA tent was relaxed and welcoming:
We, your student representatives, met you personally and answered all your questions about our committee work.
In addition to hot coffee and tea, there was delicious cake – including vegan options, of course. Good music added to the cozy vibe, making it a great spot to hang out after campus tours or between your first lectures.
A highlight of the week was the first AStA meeting of the semester on Wednesday. Many interested students took the opportunity to get a taste of the AStA's work.
It was lovely to see so many new faces and start conversations. We really enjoyed the exchange and the enthusiasm of the Erstis!
A big thank you to everyone who joined us. We’re looking forward to an exciting semester full of events, activities, and shared experiences.
